Series 2: Faculty Meetings, 1869 - 1995
This series contains documents related to the meetings of the faculty. The majority of the material is minutes from both the plenary faculty and college faculty meetings. Included also are agendas, reports, and miscellaneous correspondence related to the meetings.
Series 3: Faculty, 1854 - 2001
The articles related to professors are arranged alphabetically. The first subseries includes obituaries; programs for ordination and installation services, anniversary services, and funeral services; newspaper articles; and personal items such as books.
The second subseries includes miscellaneous correspondence to and from faculty members and to the entire faculty.

Series 4: Academic Records, 1861 - 1980
This series includes records of student grades, class alignments, course schedules, and teachers’ notes on student conduct.
Series 5: Correspondence and Documents on Synodical Schools, 1910 - 1956
This series consists of correspondence, reports and other documents dealing with three of the synodical schools, the calling of professors and giving offerings for synodical schools. Specific schools are Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Northwestern College and Northwestern Lutheran Academy.

This series contains documents relating to the curriculum of the College. Many of the files relate to various curriculum revisions over the years. There are also files from the meetings of the Academic Affairs Committee.

Series 6: Accreditation, 1919 - 1994
This series contains documents relating to the accreditation process of the College. The majority of the files deal with the step-by-step process that led to the college being accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) in 1985. Also included in this series are self-study reports and information on Faculty Development.
Series 7: Prep School and Amalgamation Issues, 1960 - 1994
This series contains documents relating the study of prep schools in the Synod, especially as it related to the Northwestern Campus. Included are reports, statistics, and correspondence related to the Prep School Study Committee, Northwestern Lutheran Academy in Mobridge, SD, and Martin Luther Preparatory School in Prairie du Chien, WI. The series also contains documents relating to amalgamation and the eventual closing of the college and move to Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN.
Series 8: Recruitment, 1923 - 1994
The articles related to recruitment have been arranged primarily by topic. These articles include recruitment committee files (arranged chronologically), informational presentations to district conventions, “Northwestern Reports,” slide presentations, and various brochures.
