Koehler's Index: 710. 1863, July 23, sent from Manitowoc by Köhler to Reim. Will’s aber überlegen. Feld offen.

(Would like to leave America willfully because of the ecclesiastical and political obstructions. But will think about it. Cannot accept the distinction between Berlin and Langenberg. Both are united. Fachtmann, as a member of the Secretary of the Minnesota Synod, helped us decide on a seminar. Muehlhaeuser would know that. Bading isn't so determined anymore since he was praeses, and the trip to Germany will produce even more. Here, however, a Lutheran field will probably soon open up.)
