Koehler's Index: 742. 1863, September 22, sent from St. Paul by Fachtmann to Reim.

(Fachtmann is a member of the Minnesota Synod and formerly, must belong to the (later) Minnesota Synod according to the congregational statutes. Heyer wants with Passavant special Minnesota Synod and rather connection with General Synod around d. Missourians to counterbalance. Heyer spoke to him about the shaky position of the Wisconsin Synod right from his point of view [?]. So also on d. Pennsylvania Synod Fachtmann wants to resign from the Wisconsin Synod if demanded. Manitowoc is due to make a decision on that next year.)
