Koehler's Index: 859. 1864, March 29, sent from Oshkosh by Waldt to Reim.

(Strife in Menasha that drove him and his people to Neenah. A Missourian Jesuit wanted to take care of the wild gang, but was persuaded to retreat by a sensible leader in the presence of the instigators. Nevertheless, the Missourian wrote a rough letter, naming Waldt Rottier. Reim should write a pointed letter against the rude crowd and one against the Missourian. Waldt then wants to copy them and send them to the right address.)
