Scope and Contents

In late 1914, Bergemann seems to abandon his personal filing system in favor of a system that strictly alphabetical. This series consists of all correspondence made by President Bergemann prior to the merger of 1917 and general correspondence of a non-district nature up to the end of his presidency. Sub-series a, b, and c are annual series for the years 1915, 1916, and 1917, respectively. They contain the entirety of Bergemann’s correspondence. Sub-series d, e, f, and g contain correspondence regarding activities above and beyond those of a particular district for the years 1918 through 1933.
