Scope and Contents

This series contains photographs of NWC that span its one hundred thirty year history. Athletics include all sports, as well as intramural sports, played at the college. Buildings and Landmarks include pictures from the very first building, the Kaffeemuehle, to the Chapel-Arts renovation in 1994. There are many photographs of the people who served as members of the faculty and staff. The Fine Arts subseries contains pictures of the band, orchestra, male/mixed chorus, and the Forum. General Students include class pictures (mostly of the graduating class) and students in various places on and off campus. A majority of the Special Events are commencement photos and pictures taken on special days, such as Northwestern Day. Student Organizations include the Black and Red, the Military Company, and the Vesuvius Club.
