Scope and Contents

This series contains the records submitted to the BHM from each of the various district mission boards pertaining to individual mission sites or "stations". Records include financial receipts and requisitions, annual and reports, legal disputations, prospective field reports, and correspondence regarding construction, loans, personnel, etc. [Note: Each station file has been grouped according to the originating mission board. The stations are then listed alphabetically by city and state. In the event that a station came under an alternate name, that alternate is referenced in [Brackets]. In the event that a station was geared as a special mission (e.g. Spanish outreach, etc.) that special status is indicated in [brackiets] following the years of correspondence. As above, activities of the Arizona Mission District, the Colonial Mission District, and the Texas Mission District have been categorized under the Arizona-California District, the North Atlantic District, and the South Central District, respectively.] For folder listings by state and district/conference, cf. appendices 2 and 3.
