Identifier: B010.07
Scope and Contents
This series consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings and other documents dealing with the Wisconsin Synod’s tenuous relationship with LC-MS immediately before, during and after the 1961 split in fellowship. This series includes documents from presidents’ meetings, individual meetings between Naumann and Oliver Harms, and discussions on the state of the church. Subseries 1 contains correspondence dealing with LC-MS/WELS relations to and from Naumann from various LC-MS and WELS correspondents, including:

Karl A. Gurgel
K.F. Koeplin
Walter Moll

and a number of other correspondents.
