Koehler's Index: 53. 1853, December 6, sent from Manitowoc by Traugott Kluge to Muehlhaeuser. Hat Muehlhaeuser schon 1835 gesehen. Soll nach Barmener Instruction noch ein Jahr studieren, hat aber 7 Familienglieder und möchte das vermeiden. Ist lutherisch, aber gemässigt. Goldammer tritt für ihn ein.

(Has seen Muehlhaeuser as early as 1835. According to Barmener Instruction, he should study for another year, but has 7 family members and would like to avoid that. Is Lutheran, but moderate. Goldammer stands up for him.)
