Koehler's Index: 151. 1857, April 27, sent from Long Grove, Illinois, by S. Dumser to Muehlhaeuser. Vorsichtiges Zeugnis für seinen Bruder. Rat nicht zur Ordination. Wird selber wohl wieder nach Michigan in die alte Gemeinde gehen und dann sich nicht an Wisconsin anschliessen. Ohio will zum Teil nach Missouri, zum Teil nach Buffalo.

(Careful testimony for his brother. Council not to ordination. Will probably go back to Michigan in the old community and then not join Wisconsin. Ohio wants to go partly to Missouri, partly to Buffalo.)
