Koehler's Index: 166. 1857, September 10, sent from Theresa by Bading to Muehlhaeuser. War in Watertown bei G. Meyer und mit ihm bei Lehrer Wetzel in Geyers (Lebanon) Gemeinde. 100 Kommunikanten wegen Privatbeichte in Bann getan. Brief Wetzels: Wetzel und Köpsel von Lochner in Milwaukee wegen Untersuchung abgewiesen. Dann von Fürbringer auf Untersuchung vertröstet, aber nach 10 Wochen noch keine Antwort. Nun Bitte an Bading, in dessen Nachbarschaft Köpsels Kinder sind, zu kommen und zu predigen. Damit geht eine Bitte Meyers und des Praeses der Saus shen Gemeinde in Watertown in Verbindung. Bading fragt um Rat und ist bereit erst Fürbringer noch einmal anzugehen.

Now ask Bading, in whose neighborhood Köpsel's children are, to come and preach. This is connected with a request from Meyer and the President of the Saus shen community in Watertown. Bading asks for advice and is ready to tackle Fürbringer again.)
