Koehler's Index: 398. 1859, December ?, sent from S[pringfield] by Dr. Reynolds to Muehlhaeuser. Anschluss an Universität von Illinois. Dazu aber Anschluss an Generalsynode nötig. Freilich da ist Mangel on lutherischen Sinn, aber Anschluss der Wisconsin Synode wird den fördern.

( Connection to University of Illinois. But this requires connection to the General Synod. Admittedly there is a lack of Lutheran sense, but joining the Wisconsin Synod will encourage it.)
