Biographical / Historical
Wayne Schulz was born to Pastor Wilbert and Agness Schulz on November 14, 1940 in Merrill Wisconsin. He attended Park School, Merrill WI; St. Pauls Lutheran, Wonewoc WI; Northwestern Preparatory School, Watertown WI; Northwestern College, Watertown WI Class of 1962; and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon WI, Class of 1966. For his Vicarage he served as a Tutor at Martin Luther Academy in New Ulm Minnesota in 1963-1964 and was a summer vicar at Sault Ste Marie in Ontario Canada. During his ministry he served at Trinity in Aberdeen South Dakota from 1966-1975. He then served at St. Paul's in Rapid City South Dakota from 1975-1979. In 1980 he became the President of the Dakota Montana District until 1984. During his ministry he also served as Mission Counselor for Western Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin and the Dakota Montana districts starting in 1989 until June of 2010.
