This series consists of reports correspondence and other documents pertaining specifically to the work of the following subcommittees of the General Board for Home Missions: the Architecture Committee, the Church Extension Fund, the Communications Committee, the Inner-City Mission Committee, the Mass Media Committee, the Priority Committee, and the Special Mission Committee. Files associated with this series are file numbers 49-54.

Scope and Contents This series consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings and other documents dealing with the Wisconsin Synod’s tenuous relationship with LC-MS immediately before, during and after the 1961 split in fellowship. This series contains documents relating the study of prep schools in the Synod, especially as it related to the Northwestern Campus. Included are reports, statistics, and correspondence related to the Prep School Study Committee, Northwestern Lutheran Academy in Mobridge, SD, and Martin Luther Preparatory School in Prairie du Chien, WI.
