Koehler's Index: 685. 1863, April 6, sent from Milwaukee by Muehlhaeuser to Reim. Giese wäre der Mann für Oshkosh, aber muss sich wohl mit Buschgemeinde begnügen, da Wald wohl nicht gerne wechselt. Muehlhaeuser will isch von Synodalgeschäften vollständig zurückziehen. Dammann geht bald mal nach Port Washington. Das ist vielleicht wiederzugewinnen.

( Giese would be Oshkosh's man, but will probably have to settle for Buschgemeinde as Wald doesn't seem to like making changes. Muehlhaeuser wants to completely withdraw from synodal business. Dammann is going to Port Washington soon. That may be regained.)
