Koehler's Index: 720. 1863, August 16, sent from Berlin, Germany, by Eichler to Bading. 10 Kandidaten will Moldehnke haben.

(Moldehnke wants candidates. Hoffmann's wife etc should be patient. Should earn something so that they can travel throughout the year. Fachtman made a stupid mistake in hiring Wolff, which Eichler will soon forgive. Muehlhaeuser is happy about Giese because he doesn't have Lutheran horns. Does Bading have any? Wants address of Pennsylvania presidency so they can contribute $100.00 to Minnesota traveling ministry salary. Maybe a second teacher from Tübingen for the seminar. Ask Hoffmann and Dorner.)
