Koehler's Index: 481. 1860, November 16, sent from Langenberg by Meyeringh to Muehlhaeuser.

(Reports on teachers Titze and Mr. Lessing. He has all sorts of only reasons to wait again and doesn't want to lose the prospect of being able to stay in America for 5 years again. His neighbor Weitbrecht advised him against it. He was in Sheboygan. Likewise Meumann. He'll come, he'll have to wait a bit now because his wife is giving birth. Then Nebe from Saxony and Moldehnke, high school teacher in East Prussia. The latter was Adjunct Amanuensis at Tholuck with very good marks. His wife doesn't want to go with him. But he hopes it will be very good. He could become a professor. Certainly one wishes for special promises for these theologians. Then Deisman. Here again the warning against Köhler's confessionalism and at the same time the assurance that Streissguth expressed no suspicion, as Muehlhaeuser indicated.)
