Koehler's Index: 485. 1860, December 26, sent from Theresa by the church council (C. Belling, Fr. Lehmann) to Bading.

(New Pastor Schmidt disagrees with Wisconsin Synod. Only with Röll and possibly with Bading. Not with Missouri but with Iowa and Buffalo. They want the synod with them, but Schmidt doesn't want to because he can't celebrate communion and can't share the pulpit. Therefore communion beforehand in the congregation. But most of them didn't go because it was employed out of infamy.)
