Besonders in Wausau und Portage. Zu Wausau Missourier in der Nähe. Ein junger Mann 21 Jahre unter Strieters Leitung, mit 30 Nationen, herausfordernd und herrisch. Ebenso Strieter in Princeton, Schlägerei auf offener Strasse. Ebenso in Berlin unfreundliche Altlutheraner. In Portage ist der Iowaer Rohrlack zu Ende. Die Leuten wollen von Wisconsin bedient sein. Man muss regelmässig herumkommen. Daher die feste Gemeinde für den Reiseprediger kaum das Richtige.

Likewise in Berlin unfriendly old Lutherans. In Portage the Iowaer Rohrlack is over. People want to be served by Wisconsin. You have to come around regularly. Therefore, the permanent congregation is hardly the right one for the traveling preacher.)
