Scope and Contents This series consists of meeting minutes, reports, planning documents, and budget details for the CME from 1989-1993. Also included are correspondence between the CME and world mission fields, call information for missionaries called through the CME, and a proposal for a new program—VASE: Volunteer Association for Soul Encouragement. Scope and Contents Records consist of documents relating to the formation and early years of the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference (CELC). Included are proposals for the founding of a new conference, minutes from initial planning meetings, various revisions of the first CELC constitution, reports and information relating to the constituting convention of the CELC in 1993 and its second convention in 1996, budgets and financial reports, and extensive correspondence relating to the CELC and the WELS’...

Scope and Contents

Records consist of COP meeting agendas and meeting minutes from 1948-1989. Agendas and minutes are included from both regular COP meetings held throughout the year and assignment committee meetings held each May to assign pastor and teacher graduates. A detailed index of the various topics discussed at COP meetings is included.
